KANYE West has given a very honest interview with late night host Jimmy Kimmel in which he speaks about his mental health breakdown and his support for US President Donald Trump.
Kimmel asked whether he had concerns about his wife Kim Kardashian being alone with Mr Trump in the Oval Office.
“Well, he is a player,” West said.

The rapper went on to say he doesn’t want to follow the crowd or be told what to say or think.
“Just as a musician, African American, everyone around me tried to pick my candidate for me and then told me that I couldn’t say that I like Trump,” he said.
West was speechless however when Kimmel asked him if he thought Mr Trump cared about black people when you see families being pulled apart at the Mexico border, forcing the late night host to go to a commercial break.
West, whose album has a quote on the front which read “I hate being bipolar. It’s awesome”, said he wanted to be visible in his mental health battle in order to break down the stigma, especially for African-Americans.
“It’s important for us to have open conversations about mental health,” West said. “We never had therapists in the black community. We never approached taking medication.”
“I think it is good that when I had my first complete black out at age five, my mum didn’t fully medicate me, I might not have fully been Ye.”
In a wide-ranging interview, West was also asked if his views on women had changed now that he had two daughters.
“Nah I still look at Pornhub,” he said. “Blacked is my favourite category.”
“I like a lot of black on white, obviously,” he said.
